About Machlo
Here at Machlo, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Gloucester, Gloucestershire, and we take real pride in the community we have built together. Our home supports people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and we also offer respite care for younger adults who need a short break or a planned period of support away from home. We were thrilled to receive an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission, and whilst that recognition means a great deal to us, what matters more is that the people who live here feel safe, respected, and genuinely at home. That rating reflects the effort our whole team puts in every single day, not just during inspections, but in the quiet, ordinary moments that make up someone's life. We understand that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or for someone you love, is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. We do not take that lightly. From the moment someone comes through our door, we work hard to understand who they are, what they enjoy, and how they want to live. Care plans are built around the individual, and we regularly review them together with residents and their families to make sure they still reflect what matters most. Our team is experienced across all of our specialist areas, and we invest in ongoing training so that the support we offer genuinely keeps pace with best practice. We believe in open and honest communication with families, and our door is always open if you have questions or simply want to come and see for yourself what life at Machlo looks like. We would love to hear from you if you think we might be the right fit.
