About Larks Leas
Here at Larks Leas, we are a care home based in the heart of Blandford Forum, Dorset, and we take genuine pride in the community we have built within our walls. We specialise in Older Person Care, Residential Care and Respite Care, supporting individuals and their families through what can often be a significant life transition. Whether someone is joining us on a permanent basis or staying for a shorter period of respite, we aim to make certain that every person who comes through our doors feels at home from the very beginning. Our team works hard to understand each resident as an individual. We take the time to learn what matters to people, from their daily routines and favourite meals to the hobbies and interests that bring them joy. Getting those details right is what allows us to offer care that genuinely fits around each person rather than asking them to fit around us. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good, which reflects the effort and commitment of our whole team. We do not take that recognition for granted and we continue to look for ways to improve and to listen to the people we support and their loved ones. Blandford Forum is a wonderful market town, and being part of this community matters to us. We welcome family and friends to visit and to remain closely involved in the lives of their relatives. An open and honest relationship with families is something we value enormously. If you are considering care options for yourself or someone you love, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us. We are always happy to have a conversation and to show you around Larks Leas.
