We support people with a wide range of needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether that is to recover after a period of illness or to give a family carer some time to rest. Whatever brings someone to us, we take the time to understand who they are, what matters to them, and how they like their days to look. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the effort our whole team puts into making sure people are safe, well supported, and treated with respect. We are proud of that rating, but we never see it as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can do things better for the people in our care. Life at Castleman House is shaped by the people who live here. We encourage residents to stay connected to the things they enjoy and to remain as independent as possible. Families are always welcome, and we work hard to keep those relationships at the centre of the care we provide.
