About Fourways Residential Home
Here at Fourways Residential Home, we provide warm and attentive residential care for older people in the heart of Sidmouth, one of Devon's most welcoming coastal towns. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every single day to make life comfortable, meaningful and enjoyable for the people who live with us. We offer residential care for older adults, and our focus is always on getting to know each person as an individual. Everyone who comes to live here has their own story, their own preferences and their own way of doing things, and we take that seriously. Care plans are built around the person, not around a routine that suits us, and we take time to understand what matters most to each resident and their family. Sidmouth itself is a real asset. It is a beautiful, friendly town with a strong sense of community, and we enjoy being part of that. Whether it is a stroll along the seafront or simply sitting in the garden on a fine Devon afternoon, there is plenty to appreciate about life in this part of the world, and we try to make the most of it with the people in our care. Families are always welcome here. We believe that staying connected to the people you love is an important part of wellbeing, and we do our best to make relatives feel at ease whenever they visit. If you are thinking about residential care for yourself or someone close to you, we would encourage you to come and see us in person. A conversation over a cup of tea is often the best starting point, and we are always happy to answer questions and show you around at a time that suits you.
