About Belmont Grange
Here at Belmont Grange, we are a care home nestled in the coastal town of Ilfracombe in Devon, and we are proud to offer a warm, homely environment where older people can feel genuinely comfortable and well looked after. We specialise in residential care, dementia care and respite care, meaning we support a wide range of individuals and their families at different stages of life. Whether someone moves in with us on a permanent basis or comes to stay for a short period of rest and recovery, we aim to make sure they feel settled, respected and at ease from the very first day. Dementia care sits close to the heart of what we do here. We understand that living with dementia brings its own unique set of needs, and we work hard to create a calm, familiar and reassuring atmosphere for those in our care. Our approach is person centred, which means we take the time to understand each resident as an individual, learning about their history, their preferences and the things that matter most to them. Ilfracombe itself is a beautiful part of the world, and we think the surroundings make a real difference to daily life. The fresh sea air and the character of the local community contribute to a sense of wellbeing that we genuinely value. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as good. We take that recognition seriously and we are always looking at how we can continue to improve the experience we offer to residents and their families. If you are considering care for yourself or for a loved one, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch and come and see us. We are always happy to show people around and answer any questions you might have.
