Here at Penrose Farm, we are a residential care home based in Truro, Cornwall, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every single day. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, including younger adults who may be at an earlier stage in their journey towards a fulfilling and independent life. Alongside our permanent residential placements, we also offer respite care, giving individuals the opportunity to stay with us for shorter periods while providing families and carers with a well earned break. Our setting in Truro gives us a wonderful base. Cornwall has so much to offer and we make the most of the local community, encouraging the people we support to get out, explore and take part in things that genuinely matter to them. Life here is not about following a rigid routine; it is about understanding what each person enjoys, what makes them feel at home, and building their days around that. We were most recently rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort and thoughtfulness our team brings to their work. We do not take that lightly. We know that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or for someone you love, is one of the most significant decisions a family can face. We want people to feel confident that Penrose Farm is a place where their loved one will be genuinely known, respected and cared for.
