Here at Menna House, we are proud to be a care home based in the heart of Truro, Cornwall, offering a genuine home from home for the people who live with us. We support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, people with learning disabilities or autism, those living with physical disabilities, and people with visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break from their usual arrangements, giving families and carers time to rest while knowing their loved ones are in safe, familiar hands. Our approach is straightforward: we get to know each person properly. What matters to them, how they like to spend their time, what makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Care is not one size fits all, and we do not treat it that way. Whether someone is with us long term or just for a short stay, we want them to feel settled, respected and genuinely looked after. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, and we take that responsibility seriously. It reflects the effort our team puts in every day, not just in meeting people's care needs but in making sure daily life here is warm, sociable and as enjoyable as possible. Truro is a lovely part of the world, and being based here in Cornwall means our residents can enjoy the local community, the familiar surroundings, and everything this part of the country has to offer.
