About Eldon House Residential Home
At Eldon House Residential Home, we provide a warm and genuinely homely environment for the people who live with us here in Liskeard, Cornwall. We are proud to support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, people living with dementia, those with learning disabilities or autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also welcome younger adults and offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, as well as support for people managing eating disorders or alcohol and drug misuse. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or their family will ever make, and we do not take that lightly. Our aim is simple: to make sure every person who comes through our door feels safe, respected, and genuinely at home. We take the time to get to know each individual, learning about their preferences, their routines, and what matters most to them, so that the care we provide fits around their life rather than the other way around. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the commitment our whole team brings to the day to day life of our home. We are always looking at how we can do things better, listening to residents and their families, and making sure our approach remains person centred and responsive to changing needs. Living at Eldon House means being part of a small community where people genuinely look out for one another. Whether someone is with us for a short stay or has made this their long term home, we want their experience here to be one of comfort, dignity, and connection. We would always encourage anyone who is curious about what we offer to come and visit us and see the home for themselves.
