About Station Villa
Station Villa is a residential care home in Hayle. We support older people needing help with daily living, including those living with dementia, adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults and people whose physical disability means they need help to move about safely. We also support some younger adults. What we provide is help with the everyday: assistance to wash and dress, medication managed properly, meals cooked on the premises, support to get about safely and staff available through the night. Around that, residents arrange their own days, and we try not to organise anybody's life on their behalf. For residents living with dementia we keep the rhythm of the day predictable and the staff around them consistent, and we ask families for the history that helps us make sense of somebody. For the autistic people we support, notice of change and attention to noise and busyness in shared areas make the greatest difference. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Families across Cornwall are welcome to visit. Please ring and we will arrange a time.
