Here at Rosewin, we are a residential care home based in the heart of Hayle, Cornwall, and we are proud to support a genuinely diverse community of people who call this place home. We care for older adults and younger adults alike, and our experience spans a wide range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to recover, to give a family carer a break, or simply to try us out before making a longer term decision. Cornwall is a wonderful part of the world to live in, and we feel that genuinely matters. The surroundings, the community, and the slower pace of coastal life all contribute to the wellbeing of the people we support. We try to make the most of where we are. We want to be straightforward about our current CQC rating of requires improvement. We know that is not where we want to be, and we are actively working through the steps needed to address the areas identified. We take that feedback seriously and we are committed to making the changes that will benefit the people living here. Families and prospective residents deserve honesty, and we would rather acknowledge this openly than gloss over it. What we can say is that the people who live at Rosewin matter to us as individuals. We take time to understand what a good day looks like for each person, what they enjoy, what they find difficult, and how we can support them to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
