About Sunrays
Here at Sunrays, we are a residential care home based in Bude, on the beautiful north Cornish coast. We support adults with learning disabilities and autism, including younger adults who need a place that genuinely feels like home rather than just somewhere to stay. We provide both long term residential care and shorter term respite care, so whether someone is joining us permanently or for a planned break, we aim to make the experience feel settled and familiar from the very first day. We know how much it means to families and individuals to find somewhere that takes the time to truly understand a person, their routines, their communication, and the things that make their day a good one. Our team works hard to create an environment where the people we support can live as independently as possible while knowing that the right help is always there when it is needed. We take the time to build real relationships, because we believe that consistency and trust are at the heart of good care. Bude itself is a wonderful place to be, with open beaches, fresh air, and a friendly community, and we try to make the most of everything the area has to offer for the people who live with us. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good, which reflects the genuine commitment of everyone who works here to getting things right day to day.
