About Red Gables
Here at Red Gables, we are proud to be a care home at the heart of the Bude community in Cornwall, offering a warm and familiar place where people can feel genuinely at home. We support older people across a range of needs, including residential care, dementia care and care for those living with a physical disability. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether that is to recover after a period in hospital or to give a family carer some time to rest and recharge. Whatever brings someone through our door, we aim to make sure they feel welcomed and well looked after from the very first day. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which we are pleased about, though we see it as a reflection of the everyday work our team puts in rather than something to rest on. We are always looking at how we can do better and how we can make life here more comfortable and more meaningful for the people we support. Living in Bude means we benefit from a genuinely beautiful part of the country, and we enjoy making the most of the local area and everything it has to offer. The seaside setting, the community around us and the familiarity of Cornwall all contribute to the atmosphere we try to create here.
