Here at The Moorings, we are proud to offer residential care for adults in the heart of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. We support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and younger adults who need a place they can genuinely call home, as well as those who come to us for a shorter respite stay. We know that choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, so we try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. From the moment you get in touch with us, we want you to feel heard and unhurried. We take time to understand what matters to each person, because good care looks different for everyone and we never take a one size fits all approach. Our team works hard to create an environment where people feel safe, respected and genuinely valued. We focus on supporting independence wherever possible, helping each person to live their life in a way that feels meaningful to them, whether that means pursuing hobbies, staying connected with family, or simply having a quiet and comfortable routine. We were rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, which we are enormously proud of. That recognition belongs to every member of our team, and it reflects the commitment we all bring to getting the small things right, day in and day out.
