About Forrester Court
Here at Forrester Court, we provide nursing home care in the heart of Westminster, London, supporting older adults and individuals with a range of needs including dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to recover after a hospital visit or to give family members a well earned break. We know that moving into a care home, or choosing one for someone you love, is rarely straightforward. It brings up a lot of questions and emotions, and we take that seriously. Our aim is to make sure that every person who comes through our doors feels seen as an individual, not simply as a resident in need of care. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences and routines, because good care starts with genuinely knowing someone. Our nursing team is on hand around the clock to manage complex health needs and to respond quickly when things change. We work closely with GPs, specialist nurses and other healthcare professionals to make sure that medical care is joined up and consistent. For those living with dementia or mental health conditions, we think carefully about the environment, the daily rhythm and the way we communicate, so that life here feels as calm and familiar as possible. Forrester Court has received a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which we are proud of, though we view it as a marker of where we are rather than where we stop. We are always looking at how we can do better, and we welcome feedback from residents and families as part of that. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would be genuinely pleased to hear from you. Westminster is on our doorstep, and we are always happy to talk.
