About Three Corners

Three Corners is a nursing home in Brixham, Torbay. We care for older people who need qualified nursing alongside everyday support, for residents living with dementia, for people with physical disabilities and with a visual or hearing impairment, and for younger adults with nursing needs. We also offer respite stays. Registered nurses are on duty here at all hours. That is what allows wounds, medication, pain relief, continence, long term conditions and end of life care to be managed on site, and it means changes in someone's health are noticed and acted on quickly rather than waiting for an appointment. We work alongside GPs, community specialists and hospital teams so decisions get made in good time, and it means people do not have to move on as their needs increase. We try hard to keep the place feeling like a home rather than a ward. Residents choose when to get up, what to eat, where to sit and how much company they want, and rooms are furnished with their own belongings. Being in a working fishing town, plenty of our residents have spent their lives here, and the view and the comings and goings matter more than you might think. For residents living with dementia we keep surroundings familiar and staffing consistent. The Care Quality Commission rated us good overall at our most recent inspection. Please come and look round.
