About Waverley Grange Care Home
Waverley Grange Care Home is a nursing home in Farnham, Surrey. We care for older people who need nursing support, for younger adults whose conditions call for the same level of skill, and for people coming to us for respite while a family carer takes a break. We think a nursing home should still feel like somewhere people live rather than somewhere people are treated. Rooms are people's own, filled with their own things. The day has shape without being regimented. There is space to sit quietly and space to be sociable, and nobody is pushed into either. Behind that is a nursing team on duty at all times and care staff who know the people here well. We work closely with GPs, community therapists and specialist teams in Surrey so that health needs are managed steadily rather than in crises. Where someone is approaching the end of their life, we plan for it honestly and in their own words, so that their wishes and their family's are known well in advance. Relatives are welcome here and are part of how we make decisions. We would much rather be told plainly when something has gone wrong than discover it later. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If Farnham suits your family and you would like to look round, please ring and arrange a time.
