About Bolters Corner Nursing Home
We are Bolters Corner Nursing Home in Banstead, Surrey. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with a mental health condition, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we take respite stays. That is a wide range, and it is possible because nursing staff are here at every hour. Clinical needs are noticed by people who know the resident, and nobody has to move somewhere unfamiliar when their health changes. Where several conditions sit together in one person, which is usual here rather than exceptional, we try to look at the whole picture instead of adding diagnoses up. Someone with dementia who also cannot hear well is not two separate problems, and treating them as such is how confusion gets misread. Communication is where we start with every new resident, and we settle it early and check it is working. The rest is ordinary life, which we protect: own routines, own belongings, and visitors who do not need to arrange it first. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
