About Ottley House
Here at Ottley House, we provide nursing home care in the heart of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, supporting a wide range of people with different needs and life experiences. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our team puts in every day to make sure the people in our care feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. We care for older people, those living with dementia, and individuals with physical disabilities. We also support younger adults, and we offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether that is to recover after a hospital admission or to give family carers some time to rest. Whatever brings someone to us, we take the time to get to know them properly, because good care starts with understanding who a person is, not just what they need medically. Our nursing team is on hand around the clock, ensuring that clinical needs are met with both skill and sensitivity. We believe that a nursing home should feel like a home first and foremost, and we work hard to create an environment where residents feel respected, heard and genuinely valued. Families are always welcome, and we encourage them to stay involved in the lives of their loved ones in whatever way feels right for them. Shrewsbury is a wonderful town and we are glad to be part of this community. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay or making Ottley House their long term home, we aim to provide a consistent, thoughtful and human approach to care. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
