We support residents with a range of needs, including dementia care, nursing care, and care for those living with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether to recover after a hospital admission or to give family carers a well earned break. Whatever brings someone to us, we do our best to make sure their time here feels personal and unhurried. Southwell is a lovely market town and we think our setting reflects that. Residents are encouraged to carry on doing the things they enjoy and to remain connected to their community wherever possible. We take time to get to know each person properly because understanding someone's history, preferences and routines makes an enormous difference to how settled and valued they feel. Families are always welcome here and we see them as an important part of how we care for their loved ones. Open communication matters to us and we would always rather have an honest conversation than leave someone with unanswered questions. Our team includes registered nurses and experienced care staff who work closely together to make sure medical and personal needs are met in a joined up way. We are always looking at how we can do things better, and feedback from residents and families genuinely shapes how we work.
