About Fosse Way View Care Home
Fosse Way View Care Home is a nursing home in Nottinghamshire, near Nottingham. Qualified nurses are on duty here at every hour rather than visiting, and that is usually why families come to us instead of to a residential home. Most of the people living with us are older adults and a large proportion are living with dementia. We also support younger adults whose health needs require nursing, and we take care they are not quietly absorbed into a routine designed for people decades older. Respite admissions are available alongside permanent places. The nursing is careful and unhurried. Medicines, wounds, pain, pressure care, and making sure people eat and drink enough. The part no procedure covers is noticing early when somebody is not themselves, and that comes from the same staff seeing the same residents over months, which is why keeping our team matters more to us than anything else we could list. Around the clinical work we try to hold on to ordinary life. Somebody who needs two staff to move still chooses what they wear and when they get up. Meals are proper meals. Visitors are welcome at sensible hours and at awkward ones when that is when you can get here after work. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Come and look round on a normal afternoon and ask us anything.
