About Church Farm at Field House
Church Farm at Field House in Nottingham provides nursing and residential care for older people and younger adults. Having both kinds of care here means that people do not have to move on when their health changes. Somebody can settle in with us needing only a little help and, if nursing care becomes necessary later, stay in the same room with the same faces around them. Registered nurses are on duty at all hours for those who need them. Day to day, our team helps with washing and dressing, moving about safely, medication, and eating and drinking well, and the nursing side covers wound care, continence care and the monitoring of long term conditions. We work with local GPs and community teams so that changes in health are picked up early rather than late. We want this to feel like a home. Rooms are personalised, meals are cooked on the premises with a proper choice, visitors are welcome and there is company in the day for anybody who wants it. Staff are expected to spend time talking with people, not only doing things for them. Respite and short stays can be arranged. If you would like to look round, please telephone us and we will arrange a time that suits you.
