About Carlton Care Home
Here at Carlton Care Home, we are proud to serve the people of Nottingham and the wider Nottinghamshire community as a trusted nursing home that genuinely feels like home. Our most recent Care Quality Commission rating of "good" reflects the standard of care we work hard to maintain every day, and we take that responsibility seriously. We support a range of individuals with varying needs. Older person care sits at the heart of what we do, and we work closely with residents and their families to make sure that moving into our home feels like a positive step rather than an unsettling one. We also provide qualified nursing care for those who need a higher level of clinical support, delivered with warmth and respect at every stage. Alongside our older residents, we welcome younger adults who require care and support tailored to their particular circumstances. We understand that a younger adult living in a nursing home has a very different set of priorities and expectations, and we do our best to make sure their experience here reflects that. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether that is to recover after a time in hospital or to give a family carer some well earned rest. What matters most to us is that every person who comes through our doors feels seen and heard. We take time to understand individual preferences, routines and life histories because good care is built on knowing the person, not just the condition. Our team works collaboratively with residents, families, GPs and other healthcare professionals to make sure that everyone receives joined up, consistent support. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, we would be very happy to welcome you to Carlton Care Home.
