About Braywood Gardens

Braywood Gardens is a nursing home in Nottingham. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, we support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we offer respite stays for those who need care for a shorter period. Having qualified nurses here around the clock means somebody whose health is complicated or changeable can stay with us as their needs increase rather than moving on, and clinical decisions get made promptly by people who already know them. We would far rather deal with something early than watch it become a hospital admission. The nursing is only part of the picture. Most of what makes a day good happens away from it, in conversation, in familiar belongings around a person, in a favourite chair and in family who come and go easily. We plan for that as carefully as we plan the clinical care, and for people with sight or hearing loss we pay close attention to lighting, familiar layouts and unhurried conversation. Nottingham is home for most of the people who live here, and moving into a nursing home should not mean leaving your own life behind. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please come and visit and meet the nursing team.
