About Church Green Lodge

Church Green Lodge is a nursing home in Norwich. Qualified nurses are on duty here at all hours, and that is what allows us to hold a wider range of need than most. We care for older adults, including many living with dementia. We also support people managing a serious mental health condition, people with a learning disability and autistic people whose health needs require nursing, people with a physical disability, people who are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing, and younger adults. Respite admissions are available alongside permanent places. A list like that is only honest if the staffing behind it is real, and ours is, because the nursing cover and the specialist experience are already in the building. People in some of these groups are moved from place to place because nobody will hold them for long, and we would rather be the point at which that stops. Doing it well means refusing to let the clinical side take over the person. Somebody who needs a nurse still has views about food, music and company, and still deserves to be asked rather than told. We explain before we act and we check we have been understood. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Come and look round and ask whatever you need to ask.
