About Fitzwilliam Care Centre
Fitzwilliam Care Centre in Mablethorpe provides both nursing and residential care. Having qualified nurses on the team alongside our care staff means we can look after people whose health needs go beyond a residential setting, and that residents need not move on each time those needs change. We care for older adults, managing medication, nutrition, skin care, pain and comfort while helping with washing, dressing, meals and moving about in a way that leaves people as independent as they can be. Dementia care is a significant part of our work and rests on familiar faces, a settled routine and taking the time to learn what reassures each individual. We support residents living with mental health conditions, where a calm environment and early attention to changes matter greatly, and residents with physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we communicate and how we assist so that dignity is protected. We also care for younger adults, planning their days around their own interests. Respite stays are available for families needing a planned break or extra support after a hospital stay. Visitors are welcome here at any reasonable hour, and we would much rather hear a concern while it is still a small one. Please come and see the home for yourself.
