About Woodview Care Centre
Woodview Care Centre is a nursing home in Lincoln. Qualified nurses are on duty here at all hours rather than visiting, and that is what allows us to take people whose needs a residential home could not safely meet. Most of the people living with us are older adults and a large proportion are living with dementia. Some have managed a mental health condition for many years, and a good number have a physical disability requiring daily help with moving and positioning. We also support younger adults whose health needs call for nursing, and we take care they are not quietly absorbed into a routine designed for people decades older. The nursing itself is detailed and unhurried. Medicines, wounds, pain, pressure care, and making sure people eat and drink enough. The part no procedure covers is noticing early when somebody is not themselves, and that rests on the same staff knowing the same residents over months, which is why keeping our team is where most of our effort goes. Around all that we try to protect an ordinary life. Choice about rising and dressing, food worth eating, the garden, and visitors at whatever hour someone can get here. Respite admissions are available as well as permanent places. Our overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Come and see the home on a normal day and ask us anything.
