About Healthlinc Apartments
Healthlinc Apartments provides nursing care in Lincoln. We support older people and younger adults, autistic adults and people with a learning disability, those managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. We also take respite bookings. Much of our work is with people who have significant support needs and who are nowhere near the end of their lives. That shapes how we run the place. The point is not simply to keep somebody comfortable but to make an ordinary life possible: privacy, getting out, seeing people, keeping control over the day and the decisions in it. Having qualified nurses on duty at all hours is what makes that achievable rather than the whole of it. Supporting this range of needs takes plans built around individuals rather than categories, so we spend proper time getting to know somebody and review honestly what genuinely helps and what does not. We would rather be straight about our regulator than leave you to find out elsewhere. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission found that we require improvement overall. There is an action plan, we are working through it with the whole team, and we will talk any family or referrer through what was raised, what has changed and what is still in hand. Visitors are welcome at any reasonable hour.
