About West Care
Boston West Care is a nursing home in Boston, Lincolnshire. We care for people who need qualified nursing support as part of everyday life, with nursing staff available throughout the day and night so that changing health needs do not mean another move to another place. We support older people and younger adults, including many living with dementia. Careful clinical work matters, and we do it properly, but it is rarely the first thing families notice. What they notice is whether the staff know their relative, whether meals are worth sitting down to, whether the house feels calm and unhurried, and whether people are asked before things are done to them. For those living with dementia, we work from life history and familiar routine. Knowing someone's trade, their music and the names that still bring a response is practical knowledge that belongs to the whole team, not to a folder. We also offer respite care, giving family carers a planned break or supporting someone through a period of recovery after time in hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We work closely with local health professionals and with relatives, and we would always rather raise a concern early. Please get in touch if you would like to look around.
