About Hunters Creek Care Home
We are Hunters Creek Care Home, a nursing home in Boston, Lincolnshire. We provide nursing care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, people with a mental health condition, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we take respite stays as well as permanent residents. Nursing cover at every hour is what allows us to support people whose needs are complicated or changeable without asking them to move when things shift. Where several conditions sit together in one person, we try to see the whole picture rather than adding diagnoses up. Someone with dementia who also cannot hear properly is not two separate problems, and treating them as such is how confusion gets misread. For residents with a physical disability the important things are practical. Time enough that a transfer is unhurried, equipment set up as it should be, and asking the person how they prefer it managed rather than assuming. The rest is ordinary life, which we work at protecting. Own routines, own belongings, meals worth sitting down to, and visitors who do not need to arrange it first. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
