About Aaron Grange Care Home
We are Aaron Grange, a nursing home in Knowsley caring for older people and for younger adults with nursing needs. Many of the people living here are living with dementia. Having qualified nurses on duty at every hour is what allows us to look after people whose health is complicated or changeable. Problems are noticed and acted on rather than waiting for somebody to visit, and families do not have to wonder what happens during the night. Nursing is only part of it. People live here, and we work at making that a decent life rather than a managed one. Rooms are personalised, people get up and go to bed when they choose, and meals are something to look forward to. Our staff take time to learn who somebody was before they needed care, because that knowledge is what turns a care task into something closer to ordinary kindness. For those living with dementia we work patiently and with the person's history in mind. Familiar faces, an unhurried pace and a routine that makes sense to them do more good than anything else we could offer. Families are welcome whenever they want to come and we keep them properly informed, particularly when something changes. We offer respite stays as well as permanent places. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a visit and see the home for yourself.
