About Ashness View
Ashness View is a care and nursing home in Haringey, north London, offering both residential and nursing care. Having registered nurses on duty at all hours means that when somebody's needs change, they do not usually have to move on somewhere else. That continuity matters a great deal to people and to their families. We support older people and younger adults, including people living with mental health conditions. In that work the clinical side is only part of what helps. Somewhere stable to live, reliable meals, a week with enough shape to give a reason to get up, and people around who notice a change in mood without turning it into a crisis. We work alongside community teams and, where people want it, with families, so that everybody holds the same picture. We also try to make sure the life of the home has something in it for everybody. Expecting a person in their thirties and a person in their nineties to want the same afternoon is not a plan, it is an oversight. Respite stays are available as well. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please arrange a visit if you would like to see the home.
