About Marie Louise House Nursing Home
Here at Marie Louise House, we provide nursing home care for older people in the heart of Romsey, Hampshire. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the commitment and consistency of everyone who works here. We care for older adults with a range of needs, including those living with dementia, people who require ongoing nursing care, and individuals who are looking for a shorter respite stay. Whether someone comes to us for a few weeks to recover and recharge, or they make Marie Louise House their long term home, we aim to make sure they feel genuinely settled, respected and well looked after. Dementia care is a significant part of what we do, and we work hard to ensure that residents living with dementia feel safe and understood. We take time to get to know each person as an individual, learning about their history, preferences and routines so that the support we offer actually fits their life rather than asking them to fit around ours. Our nursing team means we are able to support residents with more complex health needs on site, working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to make sure care stays joined up and responsive. Families are always welcome here, and we encourage people to stay involved and informed at every stage. Romsey is a lovely town and we think our location adds something real to daily life here. Whether it is enjoying the garden, taking part in activities or simply having a proper conversation over a cup of tea, the small things matter to us just as much as the clinical side of care. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, we would be very happy to hear from you.
