About Acorn Lodge Care Centre
Here at Acorn Lodge Care Centre in Hackney, London, we provide nursing home care for older adults, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our team works hard every day to make sure the people living with us feel genuinely at home, safe, and well looked after. We support residents with a range of needs, including nursing care, dementia care, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and respite care. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay to recover or rest, or is making Acorn Lodge their long term home, we aim to understand what matters to each individual and build their care around that. Dementia care is an area we give a great deal of thought to. We know how disorienting and unsettling life can become for someone living with dementia, and equally how difficult it can be for families watching their loved one change. We try to create an environment that feels calm and familiar, where residents can move through their days with as much comfort and dignity as possible. Our nursing care team brings real clinical knowledge to the home, meaning residents with complex or changing health needs are supported properly without having to move between settings unnecessarily. Having that level of expertise on site makes a meaningful difference to the people we care for and to their families. We were pleased to receive a rating of Good from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine effort our staff put in across every aspect of care, from safety and responsiveness through to the warmth and respect they show residents each day. If you are exploring options for yourself or someone close to you, we would welcome the chance to have a conversation. Please do get in touch and come and see us.
