About Elstree Court Care Home
Here at Elstree Court Care Home, we provide nursing care for people living in and around Eastbourne, East Sussex. Our team supports older adults, people living with dementia, those with physical disabilities, and younger adults who require a higher level of care. We also offer respite care for people who need a short stay, whether that is to recover after a hospital admission or to give a family carer some well earned time to rest. We are a nursing home, which means we have qualified nurses on site around the clock. This allows us to care for people with complex and changing needs in a setting that genuinely feels like home rather than a clinical environment. We take the time to get to know each person properly, understanding their routines, their preferences, and what matters most to them day to day. Dementia care is a significant part of what we do, and we approach it with real thought and sensitivity. We recognise that dementia affects people in very different ways, so we work closely with residents and their families to make sure our approach fits the individual rather than the other way around. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good, which reflects the standard of care our team works hard to maintain consistently. We are proud of that rating, though we see it as a measure of where we are now rather than a reason to stand still. Families are always welcome here. We believe that staying closely involved in a loved one's care makes a real difference, and we do everything we can to keep those connections strong. If you are considering care for yourself or someone close to you, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have an honest conversation and show you around.
