The Old Roselyon Manor is a nursing home at Par in Cornwall, and we also provide care in people's own homes. The clinical side is only part of a day though, and the rest is ordinary life: food worth eating, getting outside, prompt help and privacy. For residents living with dementia we keep the routine steady and ask relatives early for the history that makes a person's remarks comprehensible. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission, and we would rather state that plainly than write around the gap. Come and see us unannounced, and ask whatever you want.
