About Jackson House
We are Jackson House, a nursing home in Wilmslow, Cheshire. We care for older people and younger adults who need qualified nursing alongside support with daily living, including people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Respite stays are available. Nurses on duty at every hour are what allow us to look after health needs as they change, from medication and wound care to pain and the frailty that often comes with great age. Nobody should have to move again simply because their needs have grown. That is a wide range of needs, and it only works if we plan around individuals rather than by category. How a person prefers to be given information, what unsettles them and what a good week looks like to them form the basis of the plan rather than an afterthought. Where change or noise is difficult, we keep things predictable and prepare carefully for anything unusual. Alongside all of that, people get up when they want, eat what they like and keep their own belongings and habits. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring us if you would like to visit.
