About Eltisley Manor
Eltisley Manor is a nursing home near St Neots in Cambridgeshire. Because we have qualified nurses on duty, we can look after people whose health needs are beyond what a residential home can safely manage, and we can usually carry on caring for somebody as those needs grow. We care for older people who need nursing support, and we also support adults living with mental ill health, including younger adults, working closely with the community mental health teams involved in their care. Respite stays are available for people who need nursing care for a limited period or whose family carer needs a proper break. Clinically we concentrate on what counts: medication given correctly, skin care, nutrition and hydration, pain managed properly, safe moving and handling, and noticing early when somebody's condition is changing. We work closely with the GP practice and the community health teams who support the home. Around that, this is where people live. Residents keep their own rooms and their own belongings, decide when to get up and what to eat, and can have company or quiet as they prefer. The house and grounds are pleasant and get used. Families visit at any reasonable hour. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please arrange to come and see us properly.
