About The Marbrook Centre
The Marbrook Centre is a nursing home in St Neots. We care for people with complex needs who require qualified nursing support, including older people, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Having nursing staff on site means that people whose health needs are changing do not have to be moved somewhere else, and it means families can step back from coordinating a complicated set of arrangements. Around the clinical side we try to keep life as ordinary as possible, with people choosing when to get up, what they eat and how to spend their days. Respite stays are available too, whether for a family carer needing a break or for someone needing nursing support for a period after hospital. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We are not going to talk our way round that. We know which parts of our work fell short of what people here deserve, we are working through them with our team, and if you are considering us we would far rather you asked us about it directly and looked at what has changed. You are welcome to visit on an ordinary day, meet the team, and speak to people living here and their relatives.
