About Catherine Court
We are a nursing home in High Wycombe, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with the everyday parts of life. Nurses are on hand at any hour, which means a change in somebody's condition is noticed and acted on early. Most of the people who live here are older, and we care for people living with dementia, where familiar staff and routines that stay steady do more good than any particular method. We also support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people living with mental health needs, and people with a physical disability, working alongside therapists so that equipment and comfort are properly thought through. Respite stays are available, whether for a family carer who needs a genuine break or for someone recovering after a spell in hospital. We would rather be straightforward about inspection than leave it unsaid. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is requires improvement. We are not going to explain that away. We know what was found, work is under way, and if you visit we would encourage you to ask precisely what has changed and to hold us to the answer. If you are considering nursing care in this area, please come and look round and form your own view of the place.
