About Signature at Highgate
We are a nursing home in this part of north London, caring for people who need qualified nursing support alongside help with the everyday parts of life. Nurses are available at any hour, which means a change in somebody's health is noticed and acted on early rather than left to develop, and it lifts a level of responsibility that families have often carried alone for a long time. Most of the people who live here are older, and we also care for younger adults whose health needs make nursing care necessary. We support people living with dementia, and we build the day around the person rather than a timetable, keeping familiar routines going and allowing things to happen at the right pace. We also care for people with a physical disability, working alongside therapists so that equipment, positioning and comfort are properly thought out, and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Respite stays are available, whether that is a planned break for a family carer or a period of recovery after illness or a hospital admission. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. We would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unmentioned, and we would encourage you to come, meet the nursing team and ask whatever you need to ask. Please get in touch to arrange a visit.
