We keep the group of care workers around each person small, because meeting an unfamiliar face at the door unsettles anybody and particularly somebody living with dementia. We agree the support with the person and, where they want it, with their family, covering how they like things done, what they would rather manage themselves, and who we should contact if we are concerned. We look at that plan again whenever circumstances change. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Timekeeping, continuity and well trained staff are what keep it that way.
