About Housing 21 - Dairy View
Housing 21 Dairy View provides care and support to people in their own homes in Swindon. Our role is to make it possible for people to carry on living in their own place, with their own front door and their own routines, for as long as that is what suits them. Most of the people we support are older. We help with washing and dressing, getting up in the morning and settling at night, medication, preparing meals, shopping and keeping on top of the household, and we help people get out to appointments, to the shops or simply into company. We also support people living with dementia, people with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss and younger adults who need a hand to live independently. We plan our calls with enough time to do the job unhurried, and we send the same carers wherever we can arrange it. Familiarity is what makes personal care comfortable rather than an ordeal, and it is what means somebody notices a change in appetite, mood or mobility early enough to do something useful about it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you or a relative are considering support at home, please get in touch. We are happy to talk through what would help, and to be honest if we are not the right fit.
