About Totally Living Care

Totally Living Care provides support at home to adults in Salisbury and across Wiltshire. We visit older people who need help to carry on living in their own houses, adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people with a visual or hearing impairment and younger adults who need support to live independently. What an older person needs first thing in the morning has very little in common with what an autistic adult running their own household wants from us, and we plan and staff accordingly. The practical work covers personal care, support and prompting with medication, meals, household tasks, shopping and help to get out to appointments or into town. Working across a city and a lot of villages means distances are real and public transport is thin, so getting somebody out and keeping them connected is often as valuable as any task on the list. We aim to send the same small group of carers to each person and to arrive when we said we would, because in home care that reliability is most of the job.
