About Prestige Nursing
We are Prestige Nursing Northampton, and we provide care in people's own homes across Northampton and West Northamptonshire. Everything we do is built around one aim: helping people stay in the place they know best, with support that fits their life instead of rearranging it. Every arrangement begins with a proper conversation. We want to know how the day usually runs, what someone can manage perfectly well on their own, where the difficulties actually arise, and what would make the most difference. Only then do we put a plan together, and we expect to revise it, because needs rarely stay still for long. Support might mean help with washing and dressing, a prompt and a check with medication, a cooked meal and company while eating it, help getting safely about the house, or a hand with shopping and appointments. For some people it is one short visit a day. For others it is several calls, or a longer stretch so that a family carer can get some time to themselves. We try hard to send the same carers to the same households. Care is easier to accept from somebody you recognise, and a carer who knows a person well is the one who spots early that something has changed.
