About Northampton
We are a home care team working across Northampton and the wider West Northamptonshire area, supporting people to carry on living in their own homes. For most of the people we visit, the alternative would be moving somewhere unfamiliar, and staying put is what they want. Our job is to make that safe and workable. We support older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, and people with physical disabilities or with sight and hearing loss. The support we provide is shaped around what each person actually needs help with, which is usually a much shorter list than people expect. Everything else stays in their hands. A typical week might include help with getting washed and dressed, support with medication, cooking, light housework, help to get out and about, and company for someone who lives alone. We try to keep the same carers visiting the same people so that relationships have a chance to form, and so that changes in someone's health get noticed early. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. We are registered with them and inspected under the same framework as every other provider. If you would like to discuss support at home for yourself or a relative in Northampton, we are glad to talk it through with no pressure attached.
