About Halo Domiciliary Care
Halo Domiciliary Care supports people in their own homes across Northampton and the surrounding parts of West Northamptonshire. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, those managing a mental health condition, people with a physical disability, and people living with a visual or hearing impairment. We also support younger adults who need help at home. Every arrangement begins with a proper conversation about how someone likes their day to run, what they still want to do for themselves and where support would genuinely help. That becomes a written plan in plain language which our carers follow and which we revisit as circumstances change. Visits can cover personal care, medication, meals, household tasks, shopping, appointments and company. We have to be straightforward about our most recent inspection. The Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We did not dispute the findings. We accepted them, put an improvement plan in place and are working through it, with closer oversight of the areas the inspectors raised. We would far rather tell you this ourselves and let you judge the progress for yourself. What we care about has not changed. We keep the team around each person small so people are not meeting a stranger each week, we train carers for the needs they will actually meet, and families can always reach someone. Please contact us if you would like to talk things through and ask the difficult questions.
