About Grendon Cross Care
Grendon Cross Care works with people across Northampton in their own homes. Our starting point is what somebody wants their week to look like, and then the practical question of what support would make that possible. We support older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, shopping and getting about safely. We work with adults who have a learning disability and with autistic adults, usually with an emphasis on building confidence and taking on more independently rather than having things done for them. We also support people managing mental health conditions, where reliability and being genuinely listened to count for a great deal, and younger adults, whose priorities are often about getting on with work, study or a social life. We keep the same workers with the same people wherever the rota allows. Being properly known makes it much easier for somebody to say when things are not going well, and it means changes get noticed early. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat that as the standard to maintain rather than a badge. If you are looking into support at home in this area, we are glad to talk through what we could offer and honest about where we would not suit.
