About Walfinch Kingston & Weybridge
We are Walfinch Kingston and Weybridge, a home care provider working across Walton on Thames and the surrounding parts of Surrey. We visit people in their own homes so that they can stay somewhere familiar, keep their own habits and remain part of their own neighbourhood for as long as that is the right thing for them. Much of our work is with older people who need a hand with the ordinary things that have become harder: washing and dressing, medication, preparing a proper meal, or getting safely out of the house. We also support adults living with dementia, where a calm and predictable approach from someone the person recognises is worth far more than any amount of rushing. We care for people with physical disabilities and for those with a visual or hearing impairment, adjusting how we communicate and how we assist so that nobody is left out of decisions about their own life. We support younger adults too, whose goals and daily lives are quite different and are planned for on their own terms. Visits can be short and practical or considerably longer, and we would always rather discuss honestly what is realistic than promise something we cannot sustain. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and we intend to keep earning it.
