Where sight or hearing is reduced, we adapt how we communicate and how we work in somebody's home, keeping things where the person expects to find them. Where we support somebody living with an eating disorder, we work without lecturing and alongside the clinicians involved. Continuity of carer is something we plan for rather than hope for, because a familiar face makes every part of this work better.
