About Amazed Care Services
Amazed Care provides support in people's own homes in Chertsey and the surrounding part of Surrey. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities and younger adults. We think good home care is quiet, reliable and shaped around the person rather than the rota. Before support begins we take proper time to work out what would genuinely help, what somebody would rather do for themselves and how they like things done in their own house. Then we build a small, settled team around them, so the person at the door is someone they recognise. Support covers personal care, medication, meals, mobility, shopping and keeping a household running, and it can range from one short call a day to a package covering most of it. We are used to working alongside district nurses, GPs, social workers and family carers, and we try to make that coordination our job rather than the family's. For people living with dementia, consistency of face and timing is the most useful thing we can offer. Where we support autistic adults, people with learning disabilities and younger adults, the emphasis shifts to enabling rather than doing, and we plan around work, college and family life.
